Dashboard Example
On this page you will find an example of our dashboard showing illustrative data for different areas in Birmingham.
The dashboard is easiest to navigate in full screen mode. This is activated using the buttons in the bottom right corner.
First select the specific area you want to look at on the 'Area Select' page. Tick a box in the 'Area Name' column. If no area name is selected, the dashboard will not appear correctly, unlike on the finalised versions.
Each dataset is presented on a different page. You can navigate through these pages using the menu on the bottom right of the screen. You can also move through the pages using the arrow buttons at the bottom of the screen. If you want to select a different area, return to the Area Select page and select the new area.

The dashboard will show data for your chosen area across age, language, religion, ethnicity, pregnancy, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership and local data and compare it to the West Midlands region and England as a whole.
Data on ethnicity, main language, religion and sexual orientation can be refined further by selecting from the options provided on each screen – this allows a dominant category to be removed, making the differences between the remaining categories more clearly distinguishable.
